The Questions Lady

Kay Edwards, Founder and CEO of Outsight Network™

Known by her clients and colleagues as “The Questions Lady,” mission-driven leaders call on Kay for her ability to ask important questions, bring clarity to complex situations, and create solutions that are both practical and impactful. She believes that great leaders don’t have better answers, they ask better questions. She believes that listening is a critical step in building life-long customer relationships and has helped hundreds of organizations understand how creating touchpoints that delight customers can lead to increased customer loyalty.

Kay Edwards is founder and CEO of Outsight Network™, a single access point to thinking partners and strategy and implementation resources for mission-driven leaders.

For more than 30 years, Kay has provided counsel in customer experience research, market analytics, planning, collaboration management, and organizational development to both for-profit and nonprofit organizations, including Cru, The Jesus Film Project, and Thrivent. She has served clients in health care, financial services, manufacturing, social services, higher education, evangelical ministries, and retreat centers and Christian camping.

She is a national leader in research among faith-based and denominational institutions and has developed research models that enable organizations to learn and plan while respecting their unique culture and relationships with their constituents. Her work has been funded by the W.K. Kellogg Foundation, the Lilly Endowment, and the Buffett Early Childhood Fund, among others. She has recently worked with the Siebert Lutheran Foundation on a series of studies of how next gens will engage with the church in the future, and how churches and ministry organizations can respond to these changes. She is a frequent speaker on the topics of listening and relationship-building strategies for leaders, understanding what customers value, and how generational change will impact church and ministry organizations.

Kay founded Outsight™ in 2006 with the mission to, “Build lasting relationships and be relentlessly helpful.” Through this platform she has created a network of like-minded professionals who strive to deliver the “Outsight Experience™,” of deep listening, relationship-building, and values-driven service to all of their clients.
